Turning Point Daily Schedule
Regular and punctual attendance is important at Turning Point. Students who arrive late will not be allowed in the building for that day, however, we welcomed them back the next day.
Regular Turning Point Schedule
AM Session
- 8:00-8:15 a.m. – Building Opens/Breakfast
- 8:15 a.m. – Classes Begin
- 9:10-9:15 a.m. – Break 1
- 10:05-10:10 – Break 2
- 11:00 a.m. – Dismissal
11:00-11:45 a.m. – Building Closed
PM Session
- 11:45 a.m. – Building Opens/Lunch
- 12:00 p.m. – Classes Begin
- 12:55-1:00 p.m. – Break 1
- 1:50-1:55 p.m. – Break 2
- 2:45 p.m. – Dismissal
3:00 p.m. – Building Closed
PAWS Days
Turning Point will be observing the same early-release days for Professional Academic Work for Success (PAWS) as the rest of the Chehalis School District. PAWS days occur most Wednesdays during the school year. Follow THIS LINK for the Chehalis School District Calendar to view a complete lists of PAWS days for this year. During PAWS days, Turning Point will dismiss the afternoon session at 1:15 p.m. and the building will close at 1:15 p.m. Lunch will be served for both sessions.
Schedule Changes
When weather or other circumstances change school schedules for the Chehalis School District, Turning Point is included in those changes. If school is canceled for Chehalis School District, Turning Point classes are canceled. If Chehalis School District schools are 2-hours late, morning session is canceled and no breakfast or lunch will be served. Afternoon session will be held Noon to 2:45 p.m. and lunch will be served. Schedule changes will be announced through the ParentSquare platform no later than 6 a.m.
