Dear Chehalis School District Families,

As we prepare for summer break here are some important dates to keep in mind:

School Offices & Summer Break
The last day of the 2025-2026 school year will be June 11. Starting June 12, our offices will be open:

• The W.F. West High School (grades 9-12) Counseling Center will be open 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays through June 30 then will be closed for the summer until Aug. 3.
• The W.F. West HIgh School Main office will be open 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays through June 26, then will be closed for the summer until Aug. 6.
• Chehalis Middle School (grades 6-8) office will be open to the public 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed for lunch 12-1 p.m.) weekdays through June 16 and then will be closed for the summer until Aug. 18.
• Orin Smith Elementary (grades 3-5) will be open to the public 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday through June 19 then will be closed for summer until Aug. 24.
• James Lintott Elementary (grades K-2) will be open 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through June 25 then will be closed for the summer until Aug. 14.

• Beginning June 22 The Chehalis School District office will be open to the public summer hours, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon.-Thurs. and closed Fridays. The district office will return to regular business hours on Monday, Aug. 10.

• Classroom groups end June 30: You'll still be able to access your student's school ParentSquare home page and message staff, but you will no longer be connected to current classroom groups.
• Students changing buildings: You will be added to your new school building's ParentSquare in mid July during our annual Skyward update. 
• New classroom groups launch in August when schedules are distributed.
